This sub-series contains the libretti and other writings related to Kanitz's compositions. Often, he was not the author of the libretti to his operas and operettas, and friends or other colleagues would work in partnership with him. But because he worked so closely with them, often even acting as the translator, they are housed under the "Works by Kanitz" series.
