The USC Administrative series consists of materials related to academic conferences in which Bennis either presented or attended. Also included are materials pertaining to advisory boards on which Bennis served, USC departamental reviews, resume drafts, and internal memos to and from other USC faculty, as well as miscellaneous tasks for Bennis’ personal secretary, such as copy editing and letter drafting. The bulk of this series is material that Bennis arranged for his own annual faculty Performance Information Review (PIR), later known as the Annual Performance Review (APR). Materials accumulated by Bennis for this purpose include annual documentation of his teaching, research and publishing activities, as well as his professional and institutional service.
