The American Princess [Nissim Aloni]

 File — Box: 5, Folder: 1

Scope and Content

From the Series:

This series is comprised of materials where there is some overlap with the Contemporary French Theatre series and several of the topics under Special Subjects. Moshe Lazar taught comparative literature for many years including medieval, Renaissance, and Modern literature and drama focusing on themes such as fantasy, the devil, representations of Jews, etc. The files in this series contain Lazar’s notes on concepts in contemporary drama and literature as well as copies of articles, short stories, and poems that were presumably used in the courses he taught. Noted authors include Albert Camus, Michel de Ghelderode, and Edward Albee. Most of the materials are in English, but French, Spanish, and Hebrew are also represented.
