Letter No.90, 1954 March 20

 File — Box: 2, Folder: 9

Scope and Contents

Veramay started her letter to Wright by telling him that she would begin to write to him from work because she just could not find the time while she was at home. She asked him if he had heard about the earthquake that occurred at 2am. She said although everyone else was afraid and startled, she went back to sleep because she was too cold. She informed Wright that the employment department was trying to pass a law where a rancher could only hire Mexican workers if there were no local workers available. She ended the letter by telling Wright that if she did not hear back from him soon she would give up.
