Letter No.49, 1953 August 9

 File — Box: 1, Folder: 17

Scope and Contents

Veramay started her letter to Wright by telling him about her dream the previous night. She wrote that in her dream he had been given a 7 day pass to go home but that it was very difficult to see him since she worked until late at night and because there was always someone around him. She wrote that her mother heard on the news that one of the prisoners was released from Riverside. She mentioned to Wright that her letters would probably be much shorter since she was no longer talking to Liz and she would have much less gossip to write about. She ended the letter by telling Wright that the 9th had passed and that after 12 months he would be back home with her.
