Letter No.47, 1953 August 4
Scope and Contents
Veramay started the letter by telling Wright about her busy weekend. She told him she had gone to dinner with her father in Coachella and that she met a man who had just gotten back from Korea with his same last name. She asked Wright if she had heard about the father who refused to accept the Congressional Medal from Truman when his son was killed. She told Wright that his insomnia had affected her as well because she had been having trouble sleeping. Veramay ended the letter by telling Wright that she loved him and to take care.
