Veramay started her letter by apologizing to Wright about not writing the night before because she worked longer hours and went to Cathedral City afterwards. She told him that she had gone to see “I Love Melvin” She updated him with gossip regarding everyone back home. She wrote about how much she loved Wright. She told him that she had gone out with her friend Liz and two Lieutenants to Western Gameforce (Okie Stomp) at the veteran’s center. She mentioned that eventually they went to a bar and she had half a drink. Veramay ended the letter by letting Wright know that she loved him.
