 File — Box: 2, Folder: 10

Scope and Content

From the Collection:

The Political pamphlets collection contains published documents from various sources about conflicts and politics that occurred in the mid-twentieth century, with the majority of the documents dated from the 1930s to the 1970s. The documents primarily concern the politics before, during, and after World War II. Most of the texts are pamphlets, with subjects ranging from the state of refugees to anti-communist and wartime propaganda. Many of the pamphlets in this collection were published by the British Information Services and the Labor Research Institute. The publications from these sources generally contain propaganda that primarily promotes the efforts of Britain and Latin America in anti-communist activities. Other pamphlets describe preparations for the war, wartime events, and post-war reconstruction. Depending on the location of publication and the desired audience, the pamphlets are in English, Spanish, or French.
