Yearbooks and Notebooks, 1960s-2012

 Series — Multiple Containers

Scope and Contents

The Yearbook series consists of the yearbooks Bennis began creating in 1994. These bound books consist of materials that reflect his annual professional achievements. Many of the materials collected and arranged for Bennis’ yearbooks are similar to the materials he included in his USC faculty Annual Performance Reviews. From 1985-1997, Bennis saved his Annual Performance Review documentation (see USC Administrative series). In the mid 1990’s, Bennis then appeared to have collected similar materials for his personal yearbooks. The Recordkeeping subseries consists of articles written by or about Bennis, letters and photographs from his students, faculty correspondence, and documentation of speeches and appearances made by Bennis. Also included are awards or honorable mentions for and about Bennis. There is overlap between the USC Administrative, Teaching, Articles by Bennis, Articles about Bennis, Awards, Correspondence Series, and Yearbook series. The materials in this subseries reflect materials that either did not go into a yearbook, or are duplicates of materials already included in the Yearbook series.
