 Item — Box: 1

Scope and Content

From the Collection:

This collection consists of various publications issued by the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations, as well as other Los Angeles County agencies, eg, the now defunct Public Welfare Commission. The collection was probably created from materials held in the USC School of Social Work Library, which were then transferred to the California Social Welfare Archives. The Human Relations Commission has a history that dates to 1944; but this collection consists mainly of publications from the 1960s and 1970s.
