Subject Files, 1910s-1980s

 Series

Scope and Content

The Subject Files are named and arranged as closely as possible to Hunter's own files which he called subject files. They cover a wide variety of topics and ideas, and consist of articles, notes, clippings, and correspondence. The correspondence was left intact with the the other materials in the subject files rather than separated to the correspondence series. There are files about people also in the subject files, as well as in the people files.
