Photo Album "13", 1910 - 1942
Scope and Content
This album is a 3-ring binder with plastic photo pages and photos affixed to black paper. The first sixty-two photos are of the Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus from 1933 to 1938. Most are of wagons, and a few are of animals, mostly teams of horses. The next forty-two photos depict Robbins Bros. trains, wagons, and animals in 1938. Then there are fifteen photos of a 1939 Cole Bros. Circus parade. After that are three photos of what seems to be a Col. Palmers parade. Next are twelve photos of Buffalo Bill and Pawnee Bill’s Great Far East Show. There are ten photos of a 1910 Yankee Robinson parade and some clowns. The last twenty photos are of the Terrell Jacobs Wild Animal Circus, taken in Ontario, Canada in 1942. They show elephants, campers, wagons, and the entrance to the circus.
