 File — Box: 36

Scope and Content

This album is a white 3-ring binder with plastic photo pages and photos pasted onto black paper inside the photo pages. The first twenty-six photos appear to be of a Ringling Brothers circus parade in 1909. People are riding horses, elephants, and camels in the parade. There are nine small black and white photos of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus in 1920. Next, there are 12 parade photos of the Ringling Bros. Circus in 1908 taken in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The following 20 photos depict the ruins after a fire of a RB & BB circus in Hartford, Connecticut in 1944. The last 13 photos in the album are RB & BB circus wagons in Greenville, South Carolina in 1946.
