Scope and Content
The Metromedia correspondence and related material subseries consists of correspondence, clippings, memorandums, reports, notes, ppublications, press releases, and photographs, 1973-1979 (bulk 1974-1977), collected and created by Herbert G. Klein during his tenure as Vice President for Corporate Relations at Metromedia, Inc. Since Klein's tenure at Metromedia was comparatively short, these records do not provide a comprehensive overview of Klein's role at Metromedia. They provide a glimpse into the types of media-related subjects that were of continuing general interest to Klein, such as press credibility and press coverage of national elections.
