Scope and Content
The Metromedia speeches and speaking engagements, events, and receptions sub-subseries consists of notes, transcripts, correspondence, clippings, audiotapes, audiocassettes, and realia, 1969-1977 (bulk 1974-1977), created, collected, and used by Herbert G. Klein for the appearances and speeches made during his tenure at Metromedia. Some of the appearances were for organizations for which he performed public service, such as the Kiwanis Club, but were interfiled with appearances made for Metromedia.
