Scope and Contents

Herbert G. Klein's career in journalism and communications Making it Perfectly Clear subseries consists of typescripts, clippings, transcripts, publications, correspondence, and photographs, 1945-2003 (bulk 1979-1980), created and collected by Herbert G. Klein and his research assistant Tom Searson, for use in the writing and publication of Klein's book. Included are typescripts of book chapters; research files compiled from Klein's files by Tom Searson; copies of Nixon speeches from the 1950s to the 1970s; pamphlets; and correspondence with editors at Doubleday regarding photo permissions, book publication, and promotion and sales.
