Klein during his long career as a journalist and communications professional. Included are copies of Klein's articles, columns, and editorials (clippings and typescripts) published in various Copley Newspaper publications, primarily the San Diego Union; information about the Copley Newspapers Borrego Springs editorial and publishers conferences and Copley Newspaper management and board meetings; Klein's expense account receipts and reports; photographs of Klein and members of the Copley staff at various events and venues; various reports and publications collected by Klein for use during his duties as both a Copley and Metromedia executive; notes for, transcripts, and recordings of speeches and remarks made by Klein; documents about the merger and management of the San Diego Union and the San Diego Tribune; information about trips made by Klein as a journalist and Copley representative; and clippings and related material about the 1964 and 1966 elections.
