 File — Box: 4, Folder: 2

Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

Richard Nixon's presidency Watergate subseries consists of clippings, letters, reports, 1970-1980 (bulk 1973-1974), collected by Herbert G. Klein and documenting aspects of the Watergate scandal, specifically N ixon's relationship with the media during the scandal. Since Klein was no longer a member of Nixon's staff by the time the affair had escalated, most of the material in this subseries is publicly available (e.g., clippings). The material also includes letters and memorandums from John Reagan (Tex) McCrary regarding salvaging Nixon's image; remarks by Klein on Watergate; a photocopy of the Watergate security log for the night of the break in; and a copy of Nixon's letter of resignation.
