Scope and Contents

Richard Nixon's 1968 presidential campaign and election speeches and speaking engagements subseries contains notes, correspondence, clippings, audiotapes, audiocassettes, and motion pictures, 1968-1969 (bulk 1968) created, collected, and used by Herbert G. Klein as preparation for and documentation of his speaking engagements during the presidential campaign. While many were labeled by Klein as "personal," they were used for speeches and appearances in the service of Nixon's campaign.
