Richard Nixon's early political career campaign materials subseries contains clippings, speeches, itineraries, reports, and pamphlets, 1951-1961 (bulk 1960), created and collected by Herbert G. Klein primarily for the 1960 presidential election. The papers also contain information about the 1952, 1956, and 1958 campaigns and/or elections. Included are clippings about Nixon's trips; editorials and endorsements; transcripts of Nixon speeches; itineraries for various trips; information about cities to be visited; poll results; information on primaries and the presidential vote; survey results; post election analyses; and a speech kit published by the Republican Congressional Committee.
