Alan Bell is a graphic designer and publisher who founded the BLK Publishing Company and published a series of periodicals specifically for Black gays and lesbians. The collection contains materials from the BLK Publishing Company.

Photographs, event records, financial records, bankruptcy records, published books, catalogs, periodicals, postcards, clippings, correspondence, contracts, ephemera, book reviews, flyers, conference records, distribution records, and other administrative records of Clothespin Fever Press (CFP), 1981-2012. CFP was established in 1986 to publish "books that reflected the lesbian viewpoint, had literary and artistic merit and were written by a lesbian."

Abstract

The Sydney Stanley collection of pop-up book ephemera consists of production and promotional materials for pop-up book production, as well as clippings, photographs, and related printed ephemera including pop-up Christmas cards, created and collected by pop-up book collector Sydney Stanley. Of particular note are the blads ("book, layout and design" pre-publication sales material) and the unique bulking or handmade dummies.

Abstract This small collection contains letters, essays, broadsides, clippings, and photographs, created by and for Elbert Hubbard, an American writer, publisher, and philosopher, and founder of the Arts and Crafts community of Roycroft. The materials were collected by J.E. Woodhead in the course of his book collecting activities. In addition to publications produced by Hubbard's Arts and Crafts community, Roycroft, and by the Roycrofters, it also contains letters from the Hubbards to the J.E....
