Jacobsohn Collection on Germany between the Wars

Collection consists of the print newspapers, pamphlets, and other ephemera gathered by Dr. Leo Jacobsohn (1881-1944) throughout the time he spent living in Berlin from 1909 to 1938, with materials primarily from 1914-1933.Overall, Jacobsohn's collections reflect German officialdom, shortages, inflation, and the rise of National Socialism from the perspective of a well-connected doctor in Germany's cultural, political, and social center.

Ronyoung Kim was a Korean American author, best known for her novel "Clay Walls." Her husband, Richard Hahn, was a doctor and writer as well. This collection comprises primarily biographical materials, writings, academic papers, printed materials, photographs, and correspondence created and collected by both Ronyoung Kim and Richard Hahn, documenting Kim's personal life and professional career. Yin Kim was a first-generation Korean American WWII veteran, dentist, and USC alum. Olive View Sanatorium and Hospital records

The records of Olive View Hospital and Medical Center document daily life and important events at Olive View since its founding in the early twentieth century and also the ideological and structural changes the institution underwent. The collection also has significant scientific and medical materials that capture laboratory practices and scientific literature regarding the study and curing of tuberculosis, including numerous works from Emil Bogen.

Won Tai Sohn papers

Abstract

This small collection is comprised primarily of printed materials and manuscript drafts collected and created by Korean-American physician Won Tai Sohn (1914-2014), a close friend of North Korean founder Kim Il Sung (1912-1994). Items chiefly date from the 1970s to early 2000s and include articles, clippings, and drafts of Sohn's memoirs regarding his relationship with Sung. It also contains photographs, certificates, personal papers, and ephemera.
