Scope and Contents From the Collection: These papers document the activities of Yvonne Brathwaite Burke during her tenure as an elected member of the California State Assembly (1966-1972) and the U.S. Congress (1973-1978), and an appointed member of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors (1979-1980).
