Southern California and Michigan photograph album
This album appears to be documentation of a trip to Southern California. It contains photographs of various residences in Southern California, including Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Redlands; hotel grounds in Santa Monica, Pasadena, Redlands, and Riverside;, parks in Los Angeles (including East Lake, West Lake, and Central Parks); Catalina; and what is presumably the creators home in Albion, Michigan. The last 6 pages hold photographs documenting the March 7, 1908 flood in that city.
Southern California housing reports and photographs collection
The Southern California housing reports and photographs collection consists of reports, photographs, studies, housing authority materials, and a speech, 1937-1972, related to the problem of affordable housing in Los Angeles. The reports were authored by the Los Angeles City Housing Authority, the Los Angeles City Planning Commission, and the Claremont Colleges. The photographs provide visual evidence of slum housing in Los Angeles in the 1940s.
