Correspondence, pamphlets, press releases, newsletters, flyers, contact lists, postcards, clippings, and bibliographic materials documenting the founding and activities of the Gay Task Force of the American Library Association's Social Responsibility Round Table, 1970-1995. The Gay Task Force was estabished in 1970 to advocate for the interests of lesbians and gays in the library profession, as well as in libraries nationally.

Publications, meeting proceedings, correspondence, four dioramas, a clipping, and a manual from John Dunham, 1988-1997, primarily documenting his work with the AIDS Committee of Toronto Resource Centre from 1990. John Dunham was the coordinator of the AIDS Committee of Toronto Resource Centre and a librarian.

This collection consists of the administrative files from the office of the University Librarian from 1968-2000.

Jack A. Vargas was an internationally exhibited Chicano artist and arts librarian at the Los Angeles Public Library. His collection is comprised of personal and family records, sketchbooks, notebooks, and ephemera.
