Abstract

25 mounted photographs depicting locations and people in Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Santa Monica. 12 of the photographs have inscriptions and dates on the reverse. In addition to unidentified individuals, the photographs depict West Lake and East Lake Parks, residences and hotels in Los Angeles, residences and a church in Pasadena, the beach at Santa Monica, and exhibits at the Chamber of Commerce.

This album appears to be documentation of a trip to Southern California. It contains photographs of various residences in Southern California, including Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Redlands; hotel grounds in Santa Monica, Pasadena, Redlands, and Riverside;, parks in Los Angeles (including East Lake, West Lake, and Central Parks); Catalina; and what is presumably the creators home in Albion, Michigan. The last 6 pages hold photographs documenting the March 7, 1908 flood in that city.
