Two scrapbooks primarily containing matchbook covers from gay bars thoughout California and Japan, 1961-1981, compiled by Brian Edwards. Also included in the scrapbooks are flyers, invitations, napkins, 3 color photographs, and other memorabilia.

Matchbooks documenting bars, bathhouses, beauty shops (hair salons), books, discos, events, hotels, motion pictures, nightclubs, organizations, political candidates, resorts, restaurants, retail stores, safer sex campaigns, taverns, and theaters primarily in California. The collections also contains matchbooks from 24 other states, Puerto Rico, and 8 other countries.
