This collection contains the papers of English film historian and writer Anthony Slide (born 1944). Materials include interviews and correspondence with various silent film personalities, taped interviews, stills, the early manuscript of “The Griffith Actresses” by Slide, early film magazines, and material relating to Vitagraph.

Robert Sully papers
Robert Sully was an actor and a designer. In addition to working for such well known firms as Raymond Loewy Associates, he also founded his own design firm, the Argonaut Company. He earned a Masters and Ph.D from Claremont Graduate School, and taught at UC Santa Barbara on advertising and culture. The papers include photographs, typescripts, interview transcripts, and letters for a planned photographic essay on concert artists.
Sonia Sunoo papers
Sonia Shinn Sunoo was a Korean American teacher, researcher, and writer. This small collection consists primarily of Sunoo's oral history interview transcripts with early Korean immigrant picture brides (mail order brides). The collection also contains research materials regarding this topic in the form of correspondence, clippings, and notes.
