Leroy Aarons was a journalist, author, playwright, and educator. He was known for his founding of the National Lesbian and Gay Jounalists Association (NLGJA), his work at the Washington Post and Oakland Tribune newspapers, his book "Prayers for Bobby", and his teaching career at the USC Annenberg School for Communication.
