USC Libraries

The records of the Jewish Federation Council of Greater Los Angeles consist of reports, correspondence, board meeting minutes, and Council publications, 1956-1979, that document some of the activities of this organizaiton, including their work with the Jewish aged and their fundraising activities. Also included is some organizational, historical, and programmatic information on the Jewish Centers Association of Los Angeles.

The Resthaven Auxiliary records consist of correspondence, agendas for meetings, member lists, minutes, gift lists, benefit activities, financial records, and guest books, 1956-1979, that document the activities of the Resthaven Auxiliary, a volunteer organization important for its fundraising work for the Resthaven Psychiatric Hospital and Community Mental Health Center. hospital. There also exists a small amount of material directly related to the hospital.

This collection contains the records of Town and Gown of the University of Southern California, a non-profit organization begun in 1904 as the Women's Club of USC, which raises money for scholarships, campus projects, and cultural programs. Much of the collection centers on the planning and work needed produce Town and Gown benefit events, most notably the annual luncheon and fashion show.
