This collection encompasses the years 1925-1978, with the bulk of the material dating frmo the decade of the 1930s.

Hunter, led the congregation from 1926 until his retirement in 1963, but stayed actively involved until his death almost twenty years later. Based in Los Angeles, California, the Lewitzky Dance Company was formed in 1966 by Bella Lewitzky and gave its last performance on May 18, 1997. The archive consists of papers, films, photographs, costumes, programs, posters, stage plots, and sound recordings.
