Poetry typescript and letter proposing the publication of a volume of poetry by Vernon Ward, 1949. The letter accompanying the typescript is a solicitation for advance orders to facilitate publication of the book. Ward was a poet and English professor at East Carolina University (North Carolina) who later founded the literary journal, Tar River Poetry.
