Series Description

This series comprises photograph albums, photographs, negatives, postcards, and printed travel memorabilia documenting Hunt's travels, home life, past work experience, friends, and extended family members, circa 1915-1997. Also included are photographs of San Francisco and its gay pride parade, circa 1984-1985, which Hunt used as inspiration for his original musical, A San Francisco Sunday. The bulk of the photographs appear to have been created by Gale Hunt, while some of them appear to have been created by his son, David Hunt. Note that the photographs of Gale Hunt as a marionette performer are in the "Marionette" folders in the Personal Papers Series.
