Scope and Contents
This collection consists of the papers of American composer Fredric Myrow (1939-1999), along with some papers of his father, composer Josef Myrow (1910-1987). Materials includes manuscript scores, manuscript sheet music, recordings, and correspondence, as well as books, scores, sheet music, and recordings by others. Myrow is best known for composing the soundtracks for "Soylent Green" (1973), "Scarecrow" (1973), and "Phantasm" (1979).
