Biographical / Historical

Suzanne Pleshette (1937-2008) was an American theatre, film, television, and voice actress. Pleshette attended the Manhattan High School of Performing Arts and the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, and made her Broadway debut in Meyer Levin’s 1957 play Compulsion. Her career spanned nearly 50 years and includes such credits as The Bob Newhart Show (1972-1978), The Birds (1963), Will and Grace (2002-2004), and Spirited Away (2001).
