Biographical / Historical

Norman Corwin (1910-2011) was a writer, producer, composer, and USC Journalism professor. Harry Jackson (1924-2011) was an American artist known for his American frontier art. Jackson began his career as a Marine combat artist, following World War II he ventured into abstract expressionism and eventually art depicting the American west. He and John Wayne became friends in the final decade of Wayne's life.
