Carole Wells and Lawrence Goldman script collection
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of scripts belonging to American actress Carole Wells (b. 1942) along with scripts written by American writer Lawrence Goldman (1907-1990). Goldman’s scripts include episodes of the television programs Brave Eagle (1955-1956 ), Affairs of China Smith (1952-1955), and Fireside Theatre (1949-1958). Also included is one folder of Carole Wells’ scripts for advertisements. This collection was originally part of the Special Collections Performing Arts 100 series, labeled 100-41.

Biographical / Historical
Carole Wells (b. 1942) is an American film and television actress, opera singer, and producer known for her roles in the television programs National Velvet (1960-1962), and Pistols ‘n’ Petticoats (1966-1967).
Lawrence Goldman (1907-1990) was an American writer whose career spanned nearly two decades with such credits as The Fugitive (1967), and Perry Mason (1957-1966).
