Biographical / Historical

William G. "Jerry" Buck (1931-2016) was a journalist who covered the television industry as a reporter and columnist for the Associated Press. During his career with the AP, which spanned from 1960 until his retirement in 1992, Buck got his start in general news and eventually focused on entertainment. His television work included many topics, including the rise of cable television, the videocassette and the growth of political coverage.
