Burt Lancaster script books
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of the scripts of American actor and producer Burt Lancaster (1913-1994). These scripts are bound in book form with film stills for over 70 of the films that Lancaster appeared in. His film appearances include "The Crimson Pirate" (1952), "From Here to Eternity" (1953), "Elmer Gantry" (1960) and "Atlantic City" (1980).

Biographical / Historical
Burton Lancaster (1913-1994) was an American actor and producer. His first film was "The Killers" (1946), and he continued acting into his 70s until 1990. Lancaster, along with Harold Hecht and James Hill, started the production company Hecht-Hill-Lancaster, making the most of their films in the 1950s. Lancaster won an Oscar for Best Actor in 1961 for "Elmer Gantry."
