This sub-series contains the files Margulies maintained while his project about Ancient Egypt was in pre-production. These files include information from location scouts, correpsondence about the logistical problems that might arise by filming on location in Egypt, various drafts of the miniseries' script outline, research files and treatments for the shows seven episodes.

Historical Note
This sub-series contains Margulies' files for the lengthy pre-production period of an untitled miniseries that was to tell the story of Akenhaten and Nefertiti. The miniseries, whose script was written by Carmen Culver, was to be filmed in various places in the Middle East, but never made it out of pre-production due to its expensive budget.
