Historical Note
This made-for-TV movie, a sequel to Murder in a Small Town, finds ametuer slueth and Broadway director Larry “Cash” Carter investigating the poisoning death of a wealthy friend, Emma Sachs. Starring Gene Wilder as Carter, the movie initially aired in 1999 on A&E and was produced by Margulies and the Stan Margulies Company.
