Scope and Content In 1948, Siegel was selected to serve on the Southern California Advisory Committee for the California Housing Initiative. The committee circulated petitions and advocated in favor of the California Housing Initiative (Proposition 14) that was taken before voters in the November, 1948 statewide election.
