Scope and Contents note From the Sub-Series: Subseries 4 consists of files from to two major research projects: Social and Cultural Contexts of Aging (funded by the National Science Foundation), and Aging and Ethnicity (funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities). These projects supported Barbara G. Myerhoff's research among elderly Jewish communities in Los Angeles.
