Scope and Contents
Max Kade Institute for Austrian-German-Swiss Studies is a research center devoted to German and European studies that hosts lectures, conferences, and performances. Its main areas of emphasis include: exile studies, Cold War studies; German history, film, and aesthetics; and contemporary German and European affairs.
This collection consists of recordings of lectures, interviews, and panel discussions of visiting scholars and special guests of the Max Kade Institute. Formats represented are U-matic tapes, Helical scan video tape, VHS tapes, and audio cassettes.
