1st Edition, 1st Issue. Cream stiff paper wraps, color illustrations both side both covers, edges yapped, stapled; no dust jacket; no endpapers; [20] pages, heavy-weight, cream; color illustrations each page; covers 23.8 x 15.5 cm. (23.0 x 15.2 cm. leaf). Single quire with 10 leaves. Presentation card from the publishers is included. This was the 3rd Guinness 'Alice' booklet. There are 9 named parodies: Alice Through the Guinness-Glass, The Three Little Sisters, Humpty Dumpty Re-Cited, The French Have a Word For It, Guinness, Where Art Thou?, Clubberwocky, Thirst Move, Pointing the Moral, & Forget-Me-Not. There are 2 unnamed parodies, one beginning, "You are Old, Father William . . ", while the other starts with, "The time has come", the Waiter said, "To talk of ordering . . ", which is illustrated with a Walrus (waiter) & Carpenter (diner). There is yet another parody, Preface-Aforeword, which features the Fish-Footman. And the Finis, may in fact, be considered a parody as well!
