Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series consists of articles, poems, manuscripts, and typescripts written by Lipton from the 1950s to the 1970s and includes his articles for Radio Free America and his political commentary featured in his "Interface" columns that span an entire decade of current events. Materials found within this series display a good variety of the subject matter that Lipton was passionate about including sexual liberation, criticism of Western Christendom, speaking out against war, and poetry expressed as a visual art accompanied with jazz music.
