Contained in this series are drafts, proofs, and manuscripts of various works by Carol Muske-Dukes both published and unpublished. Drafts of poems have been collected under their individual titles unless there is evidence that the author or publisher compiled the poems to resemble a book form. In addition to documenting the process through which Muske-Dukes created her works, this series contains publicity regarding the works, as well as published reviews. Overall, this series is intended to trace the life of Muske-Dukes' works from their creation to their reception by the literary world.
